Board of Education

The District 716 School Board is the school district’s governing body. It is composed of six members, each of whom is a district resident elected by voters to serve a four-year term. The terms have been staggered, with elections conducted in November of each odd year.
School board meetings are conducted once a month. Workshop meetings are held on the 2nd Monday as needed, and business meetings are held on the 4th Monday of the month at 6 p.m. Meetings are held in the District Center at 130 S. Willow St.
