Scott County Transit
Scott County Transit offers a variety of transportation services to help bring residents to work, local shopping areas and appointments. It offers services to the local area and coordinates transit connections to routes throughout the seven-county metro area.
Scott County Transit services include:
Dial-A-Ride: 952-496-8341
Reservation-only, shared-ride transit services. All buses are wheelchair-lift equipped and door-to-door assistance is available. The driver will assist riders to the first door of their home or destination. Service hours are 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday-Friday. Rides are available on a first-call, first-served basis up to three days in advance.
ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) transportation service: 952-496-8001
Services for persons who cannot use regular route buses due to disability, who have received certification through the Metro Mobility Service Center, and who are traveling to and from eligible Scott County communities. ADA service days and hours vary between cities. Connections are available to other ADA providers serving Dakota, Hennepin and Ramsey counties.

Bus service is designated for each city on selected days and times of the week, during which residents may use the service for local shopping or group outing activities. Call for specific schedule information and locations.
Local fixed route services (serving Shakopee and Prior Lake): 952-496-8341
Shakopee Route 496 – local circulator operates January through December.
Prior Lake Route 491 – local circulator operates during June and July.

Dedicated service from Burnsville Transit Station to Southbridge Park & Ride and Shepherd of the Lake Park & Ride (by reservation only): 952-496-8341
Service operates between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., Monday-Friday.
